Kids like Kara, who was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma in October of 2023. Kara endured 14 rounds of chemotherapy, 31 days of radiation, and multiple transfusions, yet she was always thinking of other kids. She loved bringing gifts to the oncology unit, and throwing pizza and donut parties for the nurses. Kara rang the bell in July of 2024, and she recently raised over $500 for CureSearch by selling empanadas at a community blood drive she hosted.
